Network Design
Network Design is a written design for a new network or an upgrade, based on how your business works, your budget and what you need next. You receive a design your IT team or provider can build from.
What the Design Covers
We start from your requirements, the existing environment and the constraints that matter: sites, users, applications, suppliers and budget. The design stays inside the agreed scope.
- How the network should be structured, including switching, routing and segmentation
- Internet connectivity, firewall placement and remote access
- Wi-Fi where it is part of the agreed scope
- Resilience, and what happens if a key link or device fails
- What is reused, what is replaced, and why
- Assumptions, dependencies and anything still to be confirmed

What You Receive
You receive a written network design for the scope agreed in advance. It is written for you, your IT team or your existing provider.
- A plain-English description of the design and how it supports the way the business works.
- The main components, how they connect, and the role of each one.
- Security and segmentation choices, including what is separated and what is shared.
- Risks, assumptions and decisions that still need your confirmation.
- A practical order of work, so implementation can be planned without losing the intent of the design.
The design is a document. Installation, configuration and project delivery are separate. The hours are agreed before the work starts.
