Supplier Proposal Review
The Supplier Proposal Review is an independent read of a quotation, design or recommendation from a supplier. You receive a written view of what is being proposed, what it leaves out, and whether it fits your business.
What We Review
We review the proposal documents you provide, against the requirements and constraints you explain. We do not need to replace the supplier who wrote them.
- What the proposal says it will deliver
- Whether the proposed equipment and design match the requirement
- Gaps, assumptions and items that are excluded or unclear
- Security recommendations and whether they are proportionate
- How the proposal compares with a reasonable alternative, where one is obvious from the documents
- Questions worth asking before you accept the quotation
Hourly assessment
£125 per hour
The hours are agreed before work starts.
What You Receive
You receive a written review of the proposal in scope. It is written for you, so you can use it in the conversation with the supplier or your existing IT provider.
- A plain-English summary of what is being proposed and what it is meant to achieve.
- Where the proposal fits the requirement, and where it does not.
- Technical concerns, missing scope and costs that are likely to appear later.
- What is reasonable to accept, what to challenge, and what to clarify before you commit.
- Recommended questions and next steps, in priority order.
The review is advice on the documents we are given. We do not negotiate with the supplier or implement the proposal as part of it. A second proposal, a redesign, or help defining requirements before you go to quotation are separate. The hours are agreed before the work starts.
